Feeling Blue?

I'm a fan of blue! Kiki, the lovely garden blogger at Awake With Charm and Spirit, had a wonderful idea to have bloggers post their 'blues'.

Bluebeard (Caryopteris 'Longwood Blue')

 Wow, what a bunch of beautiful, bright, light, soft, subtle, dazzling, and simply Amazing blue blooms these garden bloggers have posted on their websites!

Lavender (Lavandula)

 The blues are truly lovely shades, and there is so much variety.

These are only a 'few' of my blues...I've posted some of my blooms in blue on other posts.

I want to add a different take on this subject. It isn't meant to be a depressing post...because Blue Is My All-Time Favorite Color...but it does involve the 'true blues', and one way in which they can be manifested is: Seasonal Affective Disorder. Feeling Blue?

I must repeat: Blue Is My All-Time Favorite Color, so this isn't meant to be a sad take on the blues.  I just love bluebirds and their color goes so well with this theme.  I illustrated my post on Seasonal Affective Disorder with lots of bluebirds...so you might want to take a look!

Additionally, it might be helpful for someone out there who really does have the blues--as it often begins around the holidays.
