Lest you think 'Just-Be Gardens' is perfect, I've got news for you! I have two kids, a husband, and 3 dogs. That should tell you something! The kids are grown (ages 24 and 15) but that doesn't mean they are always 'considerate' of all things garden. For example, backing down the driveway someone recently ran over part of my corner-driveway perennial bed. Did they say anything to me? No. And about those 3 dogs...it's a never-ending circus out there! The two little dachshunds are quite rambunctious and the standard poodle is like a galloping pony out there! The one doxie actually thinks he can climb trees, and knocks down the tall perennials on his way to the base of trees every single time he goes out! So no, the garden is far from perfect. I do try to get photos when it's looking its 'best', but lately I'm thinking about taking more realistic shots--such as when the poodle leaves me a present directly on my plants rather than on the mulch. That is, actually, most of the time!I love them all dearly and wouldn't have it any other way, though.

ReplyDeleteLove your blog. It is both entertaining and informative. I am new to this, so my blog page is in an infant stage. Like you my kids, dogs have run over things and no one ever mentions it.
