October, 2009 - Garden Bloggers Bloom Day

It's mid-month once again--time for Garden Bloggers Bloom Day.  I wrote a quick note last night early this morning, to say I would be late. It's been chilly and rainy the past couple of days, and I didn't have time to write a post earlier. Fortunately, I've been taking photos all month! Here are a few of them:

(Pink & Purple Phlox, Pink Cosmos, Black Eyed Susans, White Gaura, and Red Carpet Roses).

It's really beginning to look fall-like, yet there's still enough color and variety that, if you don't look too closely,  you might not notice the acorns that have dropped like mad all around the yard!  Instead, your eye might be drawn to the remaining blooms that still grace the gardens:

--Today I am thankful for warm temperatures and flowers, which help me feel like it's still spring in October;-)
