Next, while one variety of Hellebore (H. niger) had some blooms in December, and many other varieties have had 'buds' for months...with the snow it was virtually impossible to get photos of any! Here are some as they looked in my yard today:
And last but not least, Galanthus (Snowdrops) are finally opened. They have had buds for literally weeks...but they would not open. And when I thought they were about to...it would snow and cover them up. Finally today, I captured some photos of the lovely Snowdrops:
Oh...one more thing. I think it's pretty clear we've had deer visiting! Not that that's unusual...but they left me something this time, instead of eating everything. HA :)
