Rob. (Au Coeur du Jardin) gave me some ideas for today: I just LOVE his stone planter...that knocked-me-out! You've got to go take a look at it 'cause it's just way cool! He also 'tweaked' my curiosity about some interesting ideas for plants in pots, and reminded me that I had actually intended to plant some catmint this year and have forgotten!!
I have blue salvia:
and I have blue lavender:
-but I forgot the catmint! I'll get on it...perhaps even today (if I can 'stumble' out of the house)!
Actually, I must put on my 'boot' and head on over to the doctors because my blood test was Positive for Lyme Disease! Yuck. Maybe that's why I've been literally feeling so bad! I've just finished a round of doxycyclene (for a TICK BITE 3 weeks ago that became infected). I was not going to blog about it...kind of didn't go along with my 'goal' to have a nice, calm 'pretty' blog w/not a lot of personal info, etc. (For SERIOUS Tick Bite horrors (and recovery!) visit JoAnne's Cottage Garden).
As you can see, I'm starting to 'come out of my shell' (haha, the turtle post comes to mind here!) and if you don't mind, there may be more times when I will want to write some things that might indicate my 'lack of thankfulness' on this Thankfulness Blog!! I hope it doesn't change your opinion of my ThanksFor2Day intentions!!
My doctor called yesterday, and wants me to go through another round of antibiotics. Hopefully I'll get this Lyme thing under control before I get 'laid up' worse than I already am!!!
Hope everyone is enjoying 'being in the month of June'. It's sometimes hard for me to believe the time we all spent all winter long--writing of wanting the spring & summer months to get here--are already here!! Yay! It's wonderful. Only thing is, I'm laid up with a sprained ankle--and Lyme Disease, to boot!! ha ha (no pun intended on the 'boot' reference--well, yes there was, actually)!
--Today I am thankful--I really am--but don't feel like searching deep within to find out what for. I guess I'm thankful that it's not 'mandatory' that I do.
