Its after 12:30 AM on October
15th 16th, and I am late (again) for Garden Bloggers Bloom Day. I have a lot of blooms to post but I've been busy with my 12 year old son, as he stayed home from school with a fever the last few days. He is ok now, and he doesn't have the flu, as I took him to the doctor to make sure. In fact--he and I both were able to get our H1N1 vaccinations!
We stood in line for 3 hours to get it. So many young children have died-and I've tried not to worry about it-but as every parent knows, it has been (and remains) a concern.
I also got delayed because I was watching the mylar balloon saga play out in Colorado. It was literally a breath-holding couple of hours, with
a little 6 year old boy NO ONE on board. Did any of you watch that
today yesterday? Of course, that just kept me from finishing my post!
Anyway,
tomorrow later today, after I get some sleep (it's after midnight now) I'll finish my October GBBD post. See ya then!
