I have hope that things will work out. I believe there's a purpose to our lives. Just because something may seem hopeless to us doesn't mean there is no hope. An ending is always followed by a beginning. A caterpillar really will get its wings. All that is needed is patience and faith that something greater is at work in the universe. Just let go, stand back and observe life's miracles. They are everywhere.
What gifts have you discovered today? Until next time,

'An ending is always followed by a beginning'... Wise. I need to remember it. Thank you Jan, and have a happy and healthy 2014!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I saw the very first Hellebore flower in my garden today. It's a gift!
That's awesome about your Hellebore, Tatyana. It's always uplifting to see the first flower! Happy 2014 to you, as well :)
DeleteI too like what you said Jan, 'An ending is always followed by a beginning'. We do need to let go and see what is coming our way. I have found more times than not that the 'situations' we encounter are there as lessons and to help us grow in the long run....they are miracles indeed. Todays' miracle is the birds braving the cold to eat seed from natives left standing.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it awesome to be aware of what the birds are up to, Donna? Some people never notice them or even appreciate them. Such a great reason to leave your plants standing through the winter...and native ones at that :) Happy 2014!
DeleteI love your artwork, Jan, and the quotation. I just used the following quotation by Barbara Winkler on my blog: 'Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream.' P. x
ReplyDeleteLove that quote, Pam! I'll pop over to your blog and read it :)
