Contents of 4 boxes from Sunlight Gardens |
Yesterday I shared (in this post) 4 boxes of native plants that arrived...but before I could start planting them, the UPS truck pulled up and delivered ANOTHER 4 boxes...
Of course, I've done this to myself...so I'm not complaining. I just need it to stop raining outside so I can get out there and start planting!
This delivery is from Sunlight Gardens in TN (I have a link to their website on the right side of my blog). I did not really want the snail that was included...
but I let him scoot across the garage floor for a photo op...
SO...here are photos of what I have to plant...from both nurseries:
If you need me, you'll know where to find me! I hope to come out of hiding before Christmas!

Holy Moly, Jan! That's a lot of plants. You're going to be busy for a long time. Fortunately, they all look rather small, so you won't have to dig big holes.
ReplyDeleteWow! How exciting! I usually buy my native plants from local organization but I will definitely check out this company. Looks like they have good stock. Have fun planting!!
ReplyDeleteWowza! That's a lot of plants, and they look in great condition. I'm going to have to check out that company too. You certainly have a lot of keep you busy!
ReplyDeleteThat is a ton of plants!! The phlox and columbine will be beautiful next spring. I ordered a lot this year, too. I always thought Sunlight Gardens was just for wholesale. I need to check them out. Happy planting!
ReplyDeleteI also say WOW!! I wish I had the season to keep going in the garden. I am waiting now and taking a careful survey of the garden next year before I plant much more. But I am always looking for a good nursery where I can find natives.
ReplyDeleteHappy planting. The plants look really nice. Hope you get them all in soon.
ReplyDeleteSunlight Gardens is a great nursery. Those plants look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI hope they are all in and adjusting to their new "digs". You sure got a nice assortment! I don't remember if you already have woodland phlox, but it is one of my spring favorites.
