Wait! I'm Keeping This Blog!

Ya know, I've been playing around with the idea of leaving Thanks For Today in favor of moving over to my Planting Natives blog...but I just can't do it. I am loving planting natives in my yard, and I support attracting wildlife and practicing sustainable gardening through wise plant choices. But after announcing that I'm switching over there, I find it difficult to feel free (over there) to write about anything other than 'planting natives'!! I am so much more than that! So, I've decided that I'll continue to blog here, and that way I can write about any kind of plant (native or not), and any topic at all...non-gardening as well...and it will all be fine.

So now that I've totally confused you, I hope you'll stick around because I'm going to stay right here on this blog, okay? I will try to post more often this year. I've been a very bad blogger, and blogging friend, to those of you who I have gotten to know so well over the past few years.

Look for more posts soon, and eventually, some visits from me;) I am too connected to this blog to let it go. I will put my Planting Natives blog on hold. Great idea, but 'too limiting' for me at this point!

    As I told you on FB, I'm very glad to see this, Jan. I think we need to take time away from doing things, sometimes, in order to keep fresh with them. I didn't write many posts last year, for a lot of reasons, but I'm back this year. Here's to a great 2013!

      Thanks Jodi ;) I'm trying to retrace my steps and make everything point 'this way' again (on FB, Twitter, etc.) Seems I made a bit more work for myself. Oh well, I'm glad you're writing more too. I hope your surgery gets rescheduled ASAP, so you can get to the point of healing!!

      Thanks Nell Jean ;) My main challenge for 2013 is just to blog more. Guess by trying to write from a new blog I was 'doubly challenged'! I'll just stick with what I know:) See you in the blogosphere, and on FB :)

    Hi Jan,
    That makes a lot of sense to keep the blog where you have the freedom to write about any topic. My blog is mostly a garden blog, but I do stray from time to time.

    I haven't been visiting many blogs this winter, and haven't posted as often as I used to. I may continue that trend, though. We'll see. Maybe I just need to spend less time on FB. LOL I did drag two games to my trash today, because I see the Snoods even when I'm not playing the game, and don't seem to be able to stop playing if the game is in the sidebar.

      Thanks Sue. No matter what I call it, I just need to start blogging. Period. I've kind of gotten away from it but do miss it in many ways. And I miss visiting you and lots of others. So nice to have you stop by:) I have many ideas for blog posts on almost a daily basis, I just haven't been focused on writing them. Hopefully that will change and I'll get back into the routine!
