Thanks for sharing the photos! Just yesterday I watched hordes of gulf fritillary butterflies laying eggs on my passionflower vines, each trying to steady themselves in the wind. It really does make a difference to grow caterpillar food!
Beautiful photos, Jan! The butterflies have left my garden for the winter, which makes me sad. But I am thankful for the host of them that were here all summer, giving me so much joy and delight.
What great photos, Jan! There isn't any sign of life fluttering around my rainy and grey garden today. Yesterday I found a big spider on my watering can, though, which was unfortunately inside my car. Eww!
And I'm thankful that you shared that lovely butterfly with us! I never get tired of seeing the flying flowers. They have faded from my garden, but it's supposed to be quite warm this weekend so hopefully I'll see a few more.
And I am thankful for the lovely posing lady!
