I feel grateful this Thanksgiving, do you?
I posted this poem last year at this time, and think it's appropriate again this year. Take a look...Grateful
I believe every person and experience in my life has taught me something--whether good, or not--
and I'm thankful for them, for shaping me into the person I am today.
How about you? Are you grateful for your life experiences?
--Today I am thankful for my life's experiences.

I'm grateful to live a simple life, which is rich in the freedom it provides. I'm grateful for friends and family, and all our flowered, feathered, and furry friends! Happy T'giving!

Jan,
ReplyDeleteI try to be grateful for even the tests that god sends me. For even through the tests and trials, I know he loves me.
Lovely post.
Jan, I'm thankful for many things and you and your blog are among them. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.
ReplyDeleteWell Jan, One thing I'm thankful for is your photography skills. The rich colors and textures of your fall foliage is enviable. Am I thankful for every experience, good or bad, hmmm... have to think on that one a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteGrace, you brought up an interesting point. Every experience that I've had I wouldn't necessarily want to have to live through again, but from the experience itself-whether it was a positive or negative one-I've been given some sort of opportunity to grow in some way. Often, I've had to think long and hard about what that opportunity was...but it's there.
ReplyDeleteWhat as beautiful post. I really liked the poem. This expresses beautifully what I feel about life's experiences and the people i meet. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteJan those are just stunning photos...you make me grateful I came by! Kim
