I am so impressed with your patch of turtlehead! I look forward to the day that mine will look like that. Your plant combinations are beautiful...a very lovely fall garden!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karin! I actually had SIX HUGE patches of Turtlehead around the stream! I recently dug out 3 of them, and then divided those and placed them in various areas around the yard. They were so huge they were blocking my view to the stream...and I also realized I would like to see them expand in some other garden areas that were 'lacking'...
DeleteLooks great! Do you have any white turtlehead?
ReplyDeleteNancy Vehrs
Thanks Nancy. No, I don't have any white.
DeleteAll so pretty. My asters look kind of funny this year and they haven't bloomed yet, but we've been very warm. Maybe this weekend will tell them it's fall.
ReplyDeleteYour mistflower is one my mother loved. She was a purple mauve lavender lady.

ReplyDeleteAll beauties! I'm planting some Mistflower this fall--I hope it will emerge and thrive next spring. I'm also thinking about adding Obedient Plant after seeing it so cheery on so many blogs! Happy October!
ReplyDeleteIt just wouldn't be fall in the garden without asters and goldenrod, I'm glad you put them first!
