Today I am thankful for 3 blooms on the pink peony, as it had just 1 last year. (It looks purple in last years photos, but this post most accurately reflects the flowers' natural color. Hopefully, my photography skills have improved at least just a little)...
Words and photos ©Thanks For Today, by Jan Huston Doble
Incredibly beautiful post Jan! Such lovely words and pictures. Today I am very thankful for 1 bloom on my little Rhodo, as it had none last year.
ReplyDeleteThree blooms -- triple the enjoyment. I have the same thankful feeling about my fern leaf peony. Every year it gives me one additional bloom. This year it's up to four.
ReplyDeleteJan, you're an amazing photographer.

Hello Les, yes, there are ants! For some reason they were absent during the photo-shoot! I have some white peonies that seemed to have more ants on them. Maybe the pink ones aren't as sweet?!
