The only reason I'm the first Commenter is because folks're out grillin' and enjoying time with family. Thank you for your wonderful tribute to our veterans and those in active service, Jan. Well done, dearie. Thanks to these folks we are out grillin' and enjoyin' time with our families.....
A wonderful tribute to our deserving service men and women who have sacrificed so much for all of us. The forget-me-nots are lovely and the perfect illustration for this post.
Thanks for your nice comment on my post today, Jan. I'm afraid the heat has made me a bit cranky:) Like you, I have been trying to get as much garden work done as I possibly can without much time for blogging. July in Christmas sounds like a great idea!
Hello there Jan ! I missed this post and how beautiful a tribute with the almost perfect flower .. you have to forgive me that ? .. poppies .. Flander's poppies are what we and our UK friends hold as the flower of our "Rememberance Day" November 11th on the 11th hour .. I know we both hold it dear to our hearts because we are past military wives .. we understand this a little better than those who have not lived this life. How have you been ? I try to compare notes and progress with others that have our health problems in common .. I ma struggling but still in the garden : ) it saves my sanity ? LOL
I am late seeing this post, but i am glad I didn't miss it. Your photo collage is inspiring. It is a fitting tribute to those who have sacrificed for our country.
