Words and photos by Jan Huston DobleThanks For 2 Day.
Jan - I'm so glad you enjoyed your package - it must be like having an extra Christmas :)
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo - I've just realsied it's my turn next! :D :D :D
Jan, looks so fun. Being a map geek, I'm curious about the top left photo--to the right there seems to be a map of somewhere (England?). Would love to see a photo of that alone! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, VP, that packet of Allium christophii, direct from your garden, will be a cherished part of my next year's garden;-) And the tea sounds marvelous!
ReplyDeleteMonica, that 'maplike' thingy is a post card, from VP! She gave me about 3--to show a little of her area of the world. I'll see if I can show a better photo of it (not today, though!)...
This is a very cute idea - I like this!
ReplyDeleteJan~
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Looks like you got a treasure chest full of goodies! Can't wait to see the flowers you plant next year.
What a fun looking event. Congrats on the haul.
ReplyDeleteAre those bugs in the baggie, magnets, pins or stickers? They look so cool.
Hi MrBrownThumb, those felt bugs have magnets attached to the backs. They're sweet!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it the most fun? I was excited for you knowing they'd be arriving soon. It really is like Christmas or a birthday.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to get a package from blogger buddies! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you--congrats! It is loads of fun to get the package and treasures from all over the world. It's a blessing to me when I get the package ready to send off.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what Gardening-By-Letter is all about, but I can tell that receiving the package thrilled you. And what a marvelous job you did with the collage. I could hardly stop looking at it.
ReplyDeleteI remember when Anna started this, I had just started blogging. I was curious about what this was... as I have found out over the months of reading, it is friends sharing the things they love.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea, if you ever want another person to participate I'd love to. I enjoy making stuff and writing letters, it's such a wonderful feeling to send gifts to people and from my point of view it's a real challenge to get myself to walk to the post office alone, but when I do it, I feel like I have conquered Everest. My e-mail address is on my blog so, maybe keep me in mind if you expand the group xxxx
ReplyDeleteGetting something in the mail is fun...getting something pertaining to gardening in the mail is even more fun!!! Kim
ReplyDeleteLucky Jan!
ReplyDeleteThat is one sweet delivery!
Rosey
