I am so happy for Sue, whose blog I read regularly, congratulations! And thanks Jan for a fun competition. What I liked best about it was that you visited my site and set up a conversation. I hope you keep in touch. Your hellebores are really beautiful! Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteSue,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on winning. I'm thinking of having a contest on my blog my interactive butterfly CD Butterflies of the Carolinas & Virginias
That is a lovely collage. I just love hellbores and just bought my first one, which I still have to figure out where to plant in the garden. Of course there can only be one winner--and we don't hold it against Sue! ;-) It was a nice idea for you to have this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Sue!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Sue! I bet the book is wonderful.~~Dee
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely thing to do. I won a book this way a while ago so I don't enter any of the draws, but am constantly delighted by the winners. And this collage...Jan, it's so wonderful, it caused me instant Hellebore Heartache or Lenten rose Lust. Or something.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Sue! She's a lucky lady.
ReplyDeleteHow I'd love to have a few of those glorious hellebores! They're all so beautiful, and that's a gorgeous collage you've put together.
Nice collage. I like the colours of the flowers. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteThis collage... are this all hellebores growing in your garden? They are beautiful!

ReplyDeleteHi Jan
ReplyDeleteHow are you?, I feel fine.
I have still snow in my garden so I don´t need to do any gardenwork yet.
I´m going to cower the pine for the sun so they don´t start to grow because the ground is still frozen.
Happy Easter
Gunilla
Jan,
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous gardener you are! Maybe we can come up with a give away idea of some sort, everyone likes to get a surprise every now and then. I was very shocked to find the orchid post, that was actually Jamie. I didn't know he was doing it, he's never blogged before. Pretty good for his first one. :-)
Lovely collage, Jan. Congrats to Sue. And I've deleted the post on 'Stroke' since I really don't feel good having it on my blog.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Weekend.... it is always such a blessing when you stop by my blog.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your book giveaway.
Your pictures are beautiful like that. I just love those things. Congrats to Sue Blessings to Sue and to you too. Have a great Easter!

Hi Jan.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun this give-away must have been. I missed it getting ready for another road trip, it was a busy time. Thought of you as we cruised down 95 through Virginia this morning. How I wanted to stop by and see your gardens! Would love to some day.... Hello from South Carolina tonight!
Ann

ReplyDeleteMaria
Congratulations to Sue! I just planted my first hellebores ever; I don't know if they'll bloom this year (the book would probably give info on this), but I'm looking forward to seeing their blooms whenever they might appear. Lovely collage, Jan! I hope you had a good Easter.
ReplyDeleteHi Jan, that hellebore collage is gorgeous. (I understand, it is not your own camera work, but very, very beautiful) I would never have known there were so many varieties and colours. Just been having a little peek around your sight and am enjoying it immensely. This is such a great sentence: "Let's not grumble about roses with thorns,
ReplyDeleteLet's be thankful that thorns have roses!" - I want to keep remembering it!:) Hope yu are having a great Easter.
Take Good Care. Pauline
