  11. That is a lovely collage. I just love hellbores and just bought my first one, which I still have to figure out where to plant in the garden. Of course there can only be one winner--and we don't hold it against Sue! ;-) It was a nice idea for you to have this giveaway.

  13. What a lovely thing to do. I won a book this way a while ago so I don't enter any of the draws, but am constantly delighted by the winners. And this collage...Jan, it's so wonderful, it caused me instant Hellebore Heartache or Lenten rose Lust. Or something.

  19. Hi Jan

How are you?, I feel fine.

I have still snow in my garden so I don´t need to do any gardenwork yet.
I´m going to cower the pine for the sun so they don´t start to grow because the ground is still frozen.
    Happy Easter
    Gunilla

  20. Jan,
What a generous gardener you are! Maybe we can come up with a give away idea of some sort, everyone likes to get a surprise every now and then. I was very shocked to find the orchid post, that was actually Jamie. I didn't know he was doing it, he's never blogged before. Pretty good for his first one. :-)

What fun this give-away must have been. I missed it getting ready for another road trip, it was a busy time. Thought of you as we cruised down 95 through Virginia this morning. How I wanted to stop by and see your gardens! Would love to some day.... Hello from South Carolina tonight!

  26. Congratulations to Sue! I just planted my first hellebores ever; I don't know if they'll bloom this year (the book would probably give info on this), but I'm looking forward to seeing their blooms whenever they might appear. Lovely collage, Jan! I hope you had a good Easter.

  27. Hi Jan, that hellebore collage is gorgeous. (I understand, it is not your own camera work, but very, very beautiful) I would never have known there were so many varieties and colours. Just been having a little peek around your sight and am enjoying it immensely. This is such a great sentence: "Let's not grumble about roses with thorns,
Let's be thankful that thorns have roses!" - I want to keep remembering it!:) Hope yu are having a great Easter.
    Take Good Care. Pauline
