Yes, I am looking forward to April, but I hope it doesn't go as quickly as March seemed to. The days are flying by! Gentle breezes are what I'm looking forward to, and plenty of warm sunshine, of course! Hopefully they'll take the place of the frigid winds we've had for most of March.
Jan, what a great way to display the hellebore blooms. I love these little joys of spring, but you can't appreciate their beauty when the are always bending face down. :)
Great idea using the Hellebore blooms as floating petals in a glass bowl. I never thought of that! I have a ton of blooms in the front yard. They're so difficult to photograph because they hang their heads down. You have inspired me to find a pretty glass bowl and pluck some to make a (photographable) still life! Thanks for being an inspiration to me today!
Thanks for the second comment on my Hellebore post. I think we should have a floating hellebore day next year and link to each other's posts. I'm sure a few more people could contribute (lol) I first saw the idea in a book years ago so can't claim the idea for myself :-) I like your blue bowl.
Love the blooms in the blue bowl. I too will be glad for some warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteok - I'm game! I'll be back!
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued...

Jan,
ReplyDeleteMarch was good for us, a bit too much rain 3 inches more than usual, but after 3 years of drought who is complaining.
We have no hellebores in our garden...
Lovely display of hellebore blossoms...
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious photo. I never think to cut the blooms. Look forward to what you come up with tomorrow!
