  19. Jan - yes, I will harvest potatoes from the compost pile! I should have added some more mulch-y stuff to it a few weeks ago before the plants got so tall, so the potatoes would root up some. I added it today after reading your comment! Will blog about the outcome after the plants bloom and such.

  20. Yay! I can't believe it. I never win anything! :) And omg - I really NEED this composter so incredibly much. I added stuff to my compost today and was so discouraged by the whole pile situation. Can't wait to get it. Thanks so much for hosting this event - I'll be looking forward to it next year as well. The prizes are a nice plus - and so generous for you to send out.

  27. Congrat's once again to everyone who won a prize. I have only been unable to reach one person...Carol in AZ. She did not leave a link to any contact info. I took a risk by keeping her name as a winner, I realize. I thought she might come back to visit and see that see had won. If anyone knows who she is or how to reach her please let her know or give me her contact info, please. Otherwise, I'm going to randomly select a deadline (date) and if I do not hear from her, I will have to select another recipient for Animal, Vegetable, Miracle so kindly donated by Pam of Pam's English Cottage Gardens. I will at least wait a few months, but if I hear nothing back by mid-summer...let's say July 15th....then I will choose another winner. I will post this info. separately as well before I actually go through with this but thought I'd add it here to start with.
