We had one brood in 2004 (we were on vacation for 2 weeks and missed the bulk of that one) and had a different brood in 2007. I believe it will be a while until we have more. The thing that I remember, especially from the 2007 season, was how localized they could be. They were so loud, it was like having an incessant high-pitched generator on - everywhere. Some roads were so covered by them you couldn't walk without stepping on them, much less drive.
