I just checked and antibodies for Lyme are...Hi Jan<br /><br />I just checked and antibodies for Lyme are not produced until 6-8 weeks after infection so as I supected if you tested positive after two weeks it would likely be a prior infection. <br />Burrascano often talks about one tick bite too many and having treated 30,000 patients for this I think he is quite an authority.<br />So if you are having these symptoms with your hand I would suggest that you seek good medical advice. ILADS would recomend as I said 4-6 weeks high dose antibiotics and if symptoms persist then continue treatment until 2 months from when symptoms resolve.
