An Anniversary Give-Away To Thank You!

December 28th marked the 33rd anniversary of marriage to my wonderful husband Mike...as well as the 3rd anniversary of my blog Thanks For Today. Looking all the way back to my very first post, you can see that it was written exactly 3 years ago to the day. I had no idea where I was going with the blog--only that I knew I wanted a creative outlet. I didn't realize at the time how much fun I'd start having by meeting so many other bloggers and gardeners and nature-lovers!

Before the year comes to a close, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting my blog and for your kind comments and thoughts that you've shared with me here. To celebrate and show my sincere appreciation for your visits and friendship, I am giving away some greeting and note cards that I've had made using collages of a variety of clematis blooms from my garden. There are 2 designs, and you will receive 2 greeting cards with each design, as well as 2 note cards with each design--plus envelopes, of course. (I feature these cards at my Zazzle store and even have stamps to match!).

There is nothing you need to do but leave a comment! You do not need to have a blog--just be a blog reader! I'll give this until midnight on Tuesday, January 4th, at which time I'll close the comments and randomly pick a lucky winner! At that time I'll make an announcement, get your address and mail you the cards!

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your wonderful comments and friendship! Wishing you all a healthy and happy 2011!

Today I am thankful for my blogging friends and everyone who has taken the time to visit here and leave comments over the past 3 years.

  24. Happy Anniversary, Jan ... 33 years married is a wonderful achievement! Congratulations to you both! Hubbie and I reached 32 years last year ... I had to go back and change 'this' to 'last', still getting used to thinking of 2010 as last year, lol!

Three years writing this fabulous blog is also a great achievement. I do so enjoy your posts, so keep on posting.

  31. Happy Blogaversary! I'm so glad to have met you through blogging. I still remember finding your blog when I started 2 years ago. I remember you had lots of pretty bird pictures and poems on those posts. It seems like I've been reading that lots of bloggers started their blogs during the winter.
Here's to many more years of blogging (and marriage :) )!
    PS Beautiful cards!!

  32. Jan, just love your cards, I have been thinking I should do something like this with some of my favorite photos. I would love to attend the "Garden Blogger's Fling" in Seattle, but just the thought of navigating the freeways after I drive off the ferry from Whidbey Island, to get there makes me shudder.
I chuckled as I read your comment on my latest post on my garden blog, as I was still editing out my mistakes. I really should thoroughly read the posts BEFORE I post them *chuckle* but as usual, I am in too much of a hurry.
Happy New Year to you and yours.

  33. Jan!

Happy Holidays! Happy Anniversary! Happy New Year! Happy Happy Happy!
I love coming to your site to see how you view life through the lens of a camera! You have such a wonderful eye to capture the full beauty of our world.

I finally bought a new Nikon but am still in the learning stages. I don't think people realize it's not as simple as point and shoot. Not only does it take a creative eye to capture the subject matter, it takes skill, which I am lacking at the moment.

I hope that your 2011 is bright, beautiful and healthy!

    Peace
    Brian
