Unfortunately, my loved ones are away skiing in Maine, and I'm home with my knee in a brace. Seems I'm always having accidents. I fell off a step ladder 3 weeks ago...but it's getting much better now.

Happy Valentine's Day, my friends;-)

--Today I am thankful for the knowledge that healing, almost always, comes with time.

  1. Jan how sad for you that you can't go skiing with everyone. Maybe next time, heal quickly.

  6. aw, I hope you have a speedy recovery!! Too bad you can't be skiing, but perhaps you'll enjoy the peace and quiet of being home alone...

  7. I love the first photo. The container looks like it has a mother-of-pearl sheen.

You and step-ladders have a bad history! :( I'm sorry to hear your knee is injured. What a bummer you couldn't go skiing. I hope you feel better soon!

  9. Thanks guys (well, gals!)...
Sweetbay, you remembered about my last accident w/the stepladder! haha. I guess I'm not as steady as I used to be...even though I refuse to give up! I was at my mother's helping her move in to her new home, and I was placing 'silk plants' (can you imagine? silk??!!) up on the top of her kitchen cabinets. Well, you can imagine the rest...Stupid me!

I've recently figured out to check 'email' comments and wow, what a difference it's made with me being able to keep up with everyone! I had never done that before...so that's why I often did not ever get back with anyone! Now I'm finding it's a lot easier!

    Happy V-day to all;-)

  10. Have you guys had trouble getting into Blotanical today? It says there's a broken link. Just trying to make sure it's not just me...

  11. My husband sometimes teasingly calls me Grace because I can be a bit clumsy and accident prone.

I'm so sorry that you have injured your knee. I hope it heals very quickly. Do you enjoy times of solitude or are you one that dislikes being alone?

  12. Thanks for visiting my blog. I love your photos, the color of those ranunculas is spectacular! Hope your knee feels better....been there, done that several times....now I'm trying to put off a knee replacement for a few years.

  13. Robin, I like my solitude...I guess I've gotten used to being alone a lot. My husband often travels, my daughter is in college...and my son, well...he keeps me busy but he happens to like HIS solitude a lot, too;-) It allows me to spend a lot of time catching up on blog reading!

  23. Thanks everyone! I look forward to your posts and joining in with me on this 'earth day' project. It's actually 'pre' earth day, as that's not until Apr, 22.

    Welcome, Carolina Mountains, and Deb.
    Thanks for stopping by.

Catherine and Liisa, glad you're doing posts! Monica you SHOULD! Just make a 'short and sweet' one, nothing fancy at all. Mention just 1 thing you do, if that's what you feel like. That's ok.

Ann, the deadline is March 1. Please read the links to the instructions on this post. Also, they are in my sidebar, and also at the very top of my blog.
